UFC Vegas 74 Results: Rafael Fiziev Outclasses Rafael dos Anjos to Earn Decision Win

Rafael Fiziev put on a striking clinic on Saturday night, outclassing Rafael dos Anjos to earn a unanimous decision victory at UFC Vegas 74.

Fiziev (11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) used his speed and power to control the fight from start to finish. He landed 177 significant strikes, the most by any fighter in a UFC main event since 2016.

Dos Anjos (31-13 MMA, 19-11 UFC) had his moments, but he was never able to get into a rhythm. He landed 105 significant strikes, but he was outlanded by Fiziev in every round.

The judges scored the fight 30-27, 30-27, and 30-26 for Fiziev.

With the win, Fiziev moves to 5-1 in the UFC. He is now ranked No. 10 in the UFC lightweight rankings.

Dos Anjos drops to 1-2 in his last three fights. He is now ranked No. 15 in the UFC lightweight rankings.

In the co-main event, Kevin Holland stopped Alex Oliveira in the first round. Holland (23-7 MMA, 9-4 UFC) landed a big right hand that dropped Oliveira (22-12 MMA, 11-9 UFC). Holland followed up with ground strikes until the referee stopped the fight at 4:17 of the first round.

With the win, Holland gets back in the win column after losing his previous two fights. He is now ranked No. 12 in the UFC middleweight rankings.

Oliveira has now lost two of his last three fights. He is now ranked No. 15 in the UFC middleweight rankings.
