Sugar Time! was a short-lived American sitcom that aired on NBC from August 13, 1977 to April 24, 1978. The show starred Barbi Benton as Maxx Douglass, a hatcheck girl who also sings and plays guitar in an all-female rock band called Sugar. The other members of the band are Maggie Barton (Marianne Black), a dental hygienist who plays bass, and Diane Zuckerman (Didi Carr), a dance instructor who plays drums.

The show follows the band as they try to make it in the music business. They face many challenges, including sexism, competition from other bands, and personal problems. But they also have a lot of fun and learn a lot about themselves along the way.

Sugar Time! was created by James Komack, who also created the sitcoms Welcome Back, Kotter and The Odd Couple. The show was produced by Komack Productions and Universal Television.

The show was not a critical or commercial success. It was canceled after one season. However, it has since developed a cult following among fans of 1970s sitcoms.
